Designing a stand that disappears.

Good protection is rarely one dramatic feature. It is a series of small decisions that become noticeable only when they work together.

Start with the moment of use.

We observe how a phone is held, placed, charged and carried before drawing the first exterior surface. That sequence exposes where grip changes, where dust gathers and where a moving component must stay completely out of the way.

Prototypes are then used as ordinary cases. The goal is not to preserve a perfect sample—it is to find the edges, hinges and finishes that reveal weakness after hundreds of repetitions.

“If a feature asks for attention every time you use the phone, it has not been integrated yet.”

Refine until the mechanism feels inevitable.

Materials and tolerances are adjusted together. A fraction of a millimetre can change button response, magnetic alignment or the sound a stand makes when it closes. The final form should explain itself without instructions.
